Privacy
A plain-language summary of how The Station Table handles information. It describes how the app works today and may be updated as the service changes.
What we store
- Account details: your email address and sign-in credentials, handled by our hosting provider's sign-in service.
- Profile details you choose to add, such as username, display name, photo, rank and department.
- Content you create: posts, messages, training entries, uploaded files, and Station AI drafts.
- Department records your department creates, such as rosters, training approvals and private documents.
Visit statistics
- We record which pages are viewed, how a visit started (for example a search engine or campaign link), device type, and a random visit ID kept in your browser.
- When available, we may record only your U.S. state for a visit. We do not store your IP address, city, ZIP code or precise location in these statistics.
- These statistics are only viewed in aggregate by site administrators.
Station AI
- When you use Station AI, the request you type — and, for department members, short excerpts from approved department documents — is sent to an AI service to generate the result.
- Do not enter personal medical information or other sensitive personal details into Station AI.
Who can see your information
- Public community posts and profiles are visible to other members.
- Department content, documents and private department posts are limited to that department's active members, and some records only to its managers.
- Site administrators can view support requests, feedback and account sign-up notices to run the service.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile at any time.
- To ask about your data or request deletion, contact us through the Contact & Support page.
