Mayday Leadership and Command Response.

Learning Objectives  Recognize conditions that require an immediate Mayday under department policy.  Receive and organize a concise Mayday report without delaying rescue actions.  Carry out the first command actions after a Mayday while preserving overall incident command.  Build a rescue organization that separates rescue supervision from continued firegroundcontrol.  Use accountability, last known location, radio information, and tactical reports to support the rescue plan.
